Compliance with these requirements is mandatory, and any misuse may result in withdrawal of certification and further action.

1. Proper Use of Certificates and Marks

  • Certificates are granted only to individuals or organizations that have successfully met the certification requirements.
  • Certificates, associated designations, acronyms, and logos must always be used in a manner that is accurate, professional, and not misleading.
  • Certificate holders may display their certificate and use the designation/acronym only within the scope and validity period of the certification.

2. Restrictions on Use

  • Certificates, logos, and acronyms must not be altered, modified, or reproduced in part.
  • Certificates or marks must not be used in a way that could imply:
    • Endorsement of products, services, or organizations by IMC.
    • Certification of activities not covered under the scope of certification.
    • A broader or different level of certification than has been achieved.
  • Use of certificates or marks after expiry, suspension, or withdrawal is strictly prohibited.

3. Validity and Withdrawal

  • Certificates are valid only for the period stated on the certificate.
  • If a certification is suspended, withdrawn, or expired, the certificate holder must:
    • Immediately stop using all related certificates, logos, acronyms, and designations.
    • Remove them from all marketing materials, websites, and professional communication.

4. Misuse and Consequences

  • Misuse includes, but is not limited to:
    • Altering or misrepresenting the certificate.
    • Using the certificate or logo beyond its validity period.
    • Claiming endorsement or certification beyond the granted scope.
  • Misuse may result in:
    • Suspension or withdrawal of certification.
    • Public notification of withdrawal.
    • Legal or disciplinary action where required.
